IC-FANRes 2021

The International Conference on Food, Agriculture, and Natural Resources (IC-FANRES) first held in 2015 at the University of Jember, East Java, Indonesia. During the 1st IC-FANRES 2015, declaration of FANRES International Network was also made by leaders of 42 institutions from Indonesia, Korea, Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, and Germany to strengthening food and natural resources, technology, and policy for sustainable agriculture. Since then, IC-FANRES platform for discussion and information transfer of current researches achievements, new technological innovation, and practical application in related field to the development of food and natural resources for sustainable agriculture.

The 6th IC-FANRES was planned to be conducted in 2020 with Swiss German University as the host. However due to global pandemic of COVID-19, the conference is postponed to year 2021. During the short period of global pandemic, enormous change happened in the food and agricultural system showing more of the local agriculture and natural resources importance in supporting the global food security and sustainability. The 6th IC-FANRES 2021 aimed at providing a forum for presentation and discussion of the current and new developments in food and natural resources in empowering local agriculture and natural resources for global market in the post pandemic world.

Guidelines for Authors

This is a guideline for participating in 6th IC-FANRES 2021. Please see the information below for the detailed information for each step.

All presenters should create an account in EasyChair to submit their manuscripts. Please follow the registration guidelines for EasyChair to register an account. After completing the registration process, participants will get username and password. Please note the username and password as it will be required for updating data, submitting full paper, and checking the manuscript progress.

Abstract must be uploaded through the EasyChair system. The abstract should not exceed 350 words and please provide at least 3 (three) keywords for the manuscript. A guideline for submitting an abstract through EasyChair can be found here.

The submission progress can be checked by logging in to the EasyChair through a registered account.  The notification of acceptance for the abstract will be informed through the EasyChair system.

Accepted abstract will receive an acceptance letter together with an invoice for early bird registration fee. Please follow step  number 6 and 7 for the registration method and confirmation.

Presented paper will be submitted for publication through Atlantis Press Publisher. The submitted manuscript must be prepared accordingly and followed the guidelines below.

Manuscript Preparation

Manuscripts are accepted in English language. Author is asked to provide manuscripts as electronic files and should be prepared using common word processor software (e.g. Microsoft-Word®) in following formats: .DOC or .DOCX.

Originality

The manuscript that will be submitted must be an original work. Authors should refer to the Code of Ethics to ensure its originality. Ensure the manuscript has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (including published in different language). 

It is highly recommended to check the manuscript for any possible plagiarism by using any program such as TurnItIn or any other software before submitting the manuscripts. Authors are responsible for the integrity of the work as a whole (including method, analysis, calculation, or other details), from inception to published article.

Manuscript Submission
