Guidelines for Authors

This is a guideline for participating in 6th IC-FANRES 2021. Please see the information below for the detailed information for each step.

All presenters should create an account in EasyChair to submit their manuscripts. Please follow the registration guidelines for EasyChair to register an account. After completing the registration process, participants will get username and password. Please note the username and password as it will be required for updating data, submitting full paper, and checking the manuscript progress.

Abstract must be uploaded through the EasyChair system. The abstract should not exceed 350 words and please provide at least 3 (three) keywords for the manuscript. A guideline for submitting an abstract through EasyChair can be found here.

The submission progress can be checked by logging in to the EasyChair through a registered account.  The notification of acceptance for the abstract will be informed through the EasyChair system.

Accepted abstract will receive an acceptance letter together with an invoice for early bird registration fee. Please follow step number 6 for the registration method and confirmation.

Presented paper will be submitted for publication through Atlantis Press Publisher. The submitted manuscript must be prepared accordingly and followed the guidelines below.

Manuscript Guidelines

NOTE: Please read the instructions carefully and strictly follow them to ensure a smooth submission process. Papers that do not adhere to the guidelines will be rejected, hence full cooperation from the authors is highly appreciated.

Manuscript Preparation

Manuscripts are accepted in English language. Author is asked to provide manuscripts as electronic files and should be prepared using common word processor software (e.g. Microsoft-Word®) in following formats: .DOC or .DOCX.

Originality

The manuscript that will be submitted must be an original work. Authors should refer to the Code of Ethics to ensure its originality. Ensure the manuscript has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (including published in different language). 

It is highly recommended to check the manuscript for any possible plagiarism by using any program such as TurnItIn or any other software before submitting the manuscripts. Authors are responsible for the integrity of the work as a whole (including method, analysis, calculation, or other details), from inception to published article.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission’s compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The originality of the manuscript and ensure the manuscript has not been published previously – Please see “Originality
  • Manuscript text is prepared in accordance with the author guidelines and given template.
  • Ensure that some of the provisions are checked and present

Article Style and Structure

Follow the paper template for the details of the manuscript style. The paper template can be downloaded here.

Please follow the manuscript’s structure outlined below:

  • Title
  • Abstract
  1. Introduction
  2. Materials and Method
  3. Results and Discussion
  4. Conclusion
  • Acknowledgement (optional)

Manuscript Submission

The manuscripts must be submitted and uploaded online through EasyChair System. Please refer to the guidelines for submission process below:

  1. For Early Bird participants who already have the EasyChair account and submitted the abstract: Paper Submission Guideline for Registered Account
  2. For the new registered IC-FANRES participants and not having the EasyChair account: Paper Submission Guideline for New Account.

After the submission, authors who submit the manuscript will get a confirmation email and be able to track their submission status by logging in to the system. The submission tracking includes a status of manuscript review and editorial process. If authors have any problems with the online submission, please contact 6th IC-FANRES  admin at the following email: fanres2021@sgu.ac.id

Accepted manuscripts will be informed through EasyChair system and registered email in the EasyChair system.

Presenters with accepted abstract/full paper will receive an acceptance letter and invoice of registration fee through email. A payment receipt will be required for the conference registration.
